Placebo – 30th Anniversary Tour

Alternative rock band Placebo comes to Ziggo Dome on Tuesday 27 October 2026! When Placebo broke through in 1996, their aesthetic and textual perspective challenged expectations within British rock culture. Their visual identity questioned traditional ideas about gender and masculinity, at a time when such topics were rarely discussed in the mainstream. This way Placebo created space for a different kind of alternative voice, which strongly resonated with people who felt outside the cultural mainstream and continues to influence many artists to this day. Nowadays, discussions about identity, gender expression and individuality are more visible than ever. Against this backdrop, Placebo's debut album feels relevant again. Placebo RE:CREATED not only celebrates the legacy of the original album, but also emphasises its lasting cultural significance. The album has been recreated by Brian Molko and Rob Kirwan from the original mastertapes and mixed by Adam Noble. The result retains the directness and rebellion of the original while exploring new sonic directions.
